The Alaska Department of Health has partnered with Denali Daniels + Associates to gather input from families about early care and learning services for Alaskan children and their families post COVID-19. We are interested in hearing from families and providers on their experiences and challenges navigating children’s needs. The input gathered from this questionnaire will directly inform a statewide assessment of the early childhood system in Alaska. This project is funded by the Preschool Development Grant Birth through 5 (PDG B-5) grant program.
The PDG B-5 is a federal grant designed to help states create or improve preschool programs for children from low- and moderate-income families. In Alaska, the PDG funds are being used to help parents learn more about early childhood education, make sure children have a smooth transition to school, increase the quality and availability of programs, improve teacher training and retention, and create a unified system of programs and information.

This questionnaire was made possible by funds from Preschool Development Grant – Birth through Five (PDG B-5) grant number 90TP0103. Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official view of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families.

All online questionnaire submissions will be entered to win a $300 Visa gift card!
